The need for Power – Guide what to do when power outage

Reading this blog on our mobile phone, computer, or laptop under a bright light with a fan over our heads, not many of us realize the importance of electricity. Have you ever stopped and thought about the aspects of your life that would have been impossible without electricity? If you haven’t, now is not a bad time to do it. Lay back, take a look around yourself, what do you see?

• Make sure that the external power source that you have can be kept in touch with using your cell phone.
• If you are running out of battery power on your devices use your car’s battery to charge your devices by attaching a DC inverter to the battery.
• If you are in an emergency situation with no light. The last thing you’d want is to scramble all over the place to find batteries for radios and flashlights. To avoid this, make sure you keep enough stock on hand and stored in easily accessible locations.
• If you are not a fan of keeping many sizes of batteries stored up, make sure you use devices that make use of the same size batteries, such as AAA etc.
• Make sure you charge the car’s battery by keeping the car running.
